Yokocho Typeface

Yokocho is a japanese word for “alleway”, but it also means a narrow street, at the dense metropoles of japan, packed with izakayas.

It is this sensation of narrowness that inspired the Yokocho typeface. Sporting a high and robust silhouette compressed in a tiny and dense space.
